An ode to overalls
Share
Some clothes you reach for again and again. Overalls are one of them. With a shirt on a sunny day, a long sleeve when it gets cooler, or a cozy sweater when winter really kicks in.
And they just look so cute. On a baby with tiny socks, or a bigger kid with sneakers and a favorite tee. A little personality, without much effort.
Throw them on and go
Some mornings, you’re just happy everyone’s dressed. That’s where overalls come in. A tee underneath, and you’re good to go.
One combo we love: leopard print overalls with the blue cable knit sweater from Sproet & Sprout. The bright blue, soft knit and leopard print look so good together. Want to keep it simple? A plain long sleeve works just as well.
Ready for whatever the day brings
Playing on the floor, climbing, heading down the slide one more time: overalls need to keep up. We love a fit with room to move. A quick squat while trying them on? Always a good test.
Check the fastenings, too. Especially when your little one is learning to use the bathroom on their own, easy on and off makes a difference.
Two pairs, two different looks
Our leopard print overalls from Route B are for the little ones. The New Chapter overalls come in sizes for little and bigger kids. Both are for girls and boys, with plenty of room to make the look their own.
Add a favorite tee or that sweater your kid wants to wear every single day. And if they want their overalls straight back on after laundry day? We get it.
