Sproet & Sprout is one of those brands that shows straight away how much fun kidswear can be. Colors, stripes, denim, unexpected details and playful prints are mixed freely. Sometimes a piece is quite standout; other times, the special touch is hidden in a small detail. And that is exactly the mix we love at HEY MAUSI.
Meet Sproet & Sprout
Sproet & Sprout is a Dutch kidswear brand with a clear idea: children should be free to show their own character. The collections are playful and creative and don't need to be perfectly coordinated. Hand drawn artwork and prints are part of the brand, but Sproet & Sprout is not just a "print brand." You will also find stripes, denim, knitwear, color blocking and small details that make a piece special. The current world of the brand is called Club Chaos. And honestly, that sums up the style rather well: creative, a little wild and never too neat.
Not everything has to match
Perhaps that is the best thing about Sproet & Sprout: you never need to wear a complete look from one collection. One standout piece is often enough. You can, for example, easily combine the Sproet & Sprout Girls Straight Denim with a more understated sweater or knit pullover. Or you can do the exact opposite and add another color. Kidswear should be fun, after all.
Stripes almost always work
At Sproet & Sprout, stripes are almost the perfect middle ground between simple and colorful. The winter leggings in blue and pink really only need a top that picks up one of the colors.

A special piece doesn't always need a print
For us, this is an important part of Sproet & Sprout. The dark green teddy gilet has no wild all over print and yet is anything but boring. Worn over a striped long sleeve, it becomes part of a quite colorful outfit. With jeans and a simple shirt, the same gilet immediately looks more subdued. And what if you only want a little color?
Of course, you don't have to start with striped pants right away. Sometimes a small detail is enough. The Club Chaos socks in pink or the Club Chaos beanie in pink add color to an outfit without having to make the entire wardrobe colorful. Both are currently part of our Sproet & Sprout selection. By the way, that is also a pretty simple trick if you want to bring more color into your child's wardrobe: Start small. Socks, a hat, a gilet or a special top can be more than enough.
What is Sproet & Sprout sizing like?
At Sproet & Sprout, you will find both baby sizes and sizes for older children. Since the fit can vary depending on the garment, we would not describe the brand as generally running large or small. It is best to go by your child's height and check the official size chart if you are unsure.
